A new airport located about 20km from the Bintulu town in Sarawak to replace the old airport next to the town. |
The new airport is able to accommodate the full operations of Airbus 330 whereas the old airport maximum capacity was Fokker F50s.
Other main features of the new airport:
- Runway Length - 2.745km
- Maximum Capacity - 1 Airbus 330, 1 boeing 737-400
- 3 Fokker 50, Helicopter Apron
- 400 pax peak hour
- Terminal Building - 10,000 sq.m.
